Creating a Lofty Comforter

Step 1: Choose a Spacious Area

Find a clean spacious area where you can easily spread out your down comforter i.e. a bed or large table will work well.

Step 2: Remove the Comforter from the Comforter Bag

Remove your comforter from the comforter bag and set it aside; Fluffing will be more effective working directly with the comforter.

Step 3: Shake the Comforter

Hold one end of the comforter and give it a few vigorous shakes to distribute the down evenly; This will help separate clumps and restore loft.

Step 4: Toss in Dryer Balls, Dry on Low Heat

Place a few clean, dry tennis balls or dryer balls in the dryer with your down comforter and set your dryer to dry on a low or delicate heat setting. Excessive heating can damage the down fill, so it is crucial to use low heat.

Step 5: Remove, Shake, Enjoy!
